| Raymond Pope Ray is our Kennel Manager and a Dog Trainer at Barkingham Palace. Ray was born in Liberty, Texas and has lived in Kingsland, Texas for over 25 years. Ray served in the US Marines Corps as dog handler while stationed in Morocco, Africa. He went through the dog training academy at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Raymond enjoys fishing, hunting, and riding his new Harley Davidson in the Hill Country. Ray says that he “loves working with the animals and is happy to be a part of the team at Barkingham Palace”. Our clients rave about Ray’s attention to detail, high standard of care and the kennel’s overall cleanliness. He is a great trainer and loves what he does! |
| Ryan Hughes Ryan is Marty’s son and joined us last year from California. He too lives right here on the 7 acres at Barkingham Palace. Ryan has developed an interest in canine behavior and has a passion for improving the stay for all our pet guests. He does just about anything and everything at Barkingham Palace. In his spare time he loves hanging out with the family, exploring and getting to know the Hill Country and daily work out sessions at the local gym. We nicknamed him “Hercules”. |
